Policies & Fees

Our minimum new account size is $300,000. Investors can transfer existing accounts to us for management or start with cash. UIA will assist with and coordinate account setup and transfer process. If you have any questions, please contact us at 612-312-1400.

Fee Schedule*

UIA equity strategies, Intelligent Growth & Intelligent Blend, are charged an annual fee of 1.25 percent. For amounts greater than $2 million the fee is reduced to 1 percent, annually.

UIA’s Defensive Growth strategy is billed 1 percent, annually. For amounts greater than $2 million the fee is reduced to 0.75 percent, annually.  The fees for large accounts are individually negotiated. 

*Fees are paid quarterly in advance. Clients are responsible for transaction costs. Clients can elect to withdraw UIA as account manager at any time. Fees are refunded on a pro rata basis and an account closing fee is assessed.
