Experience

Fred joined Ulland Investment Advisors in 2011. Prior to UIA, he held finance internships at A.G. Edwards & Sons; Equity Based Services, a private equity firm specializing in the acquisition of self-storage facilities; and SwapBeats, a Minneapolis-based technology start-up company.

Education

Fred graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College with a B.A. in economics. While at Carleton, Fred was a four-year member and active co-manager of the Carleton Investment Group. He also participated in two study abroad programs in South East Asia. Fred passed the Level I CFA exam in December 2011.

Interests

In his free time, Fred enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and playing soccer.
